Kelly Eng and Marie Piplard are designers and founders of the Paris-based “studio engpiplard”. They graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and were trained in ceramics through exchanges at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, Seoul National University, and the National Taiwan University of Arts. Between curiosity and obsession, they collect objects and tools from the past to reveal their singularities. They explore the forms, gestures, uses, and imaginaries they evoke, nurturing new narratives around domestic objects.
